Exploring The World Of security scanning program CLEAR
In the early 1990s, airport security was an easy process. In the past, going through airport security was a simple process. You just got in “the” queue, ran your items through the x ray machine and walked the metal detector. The process has become much more complicated, with up to four security lines in some airports. There are also different levels of identification verification and screening, as well as a changing array of rules for each.
Now, an expedited security scanning program CLEAR has been introduced at more than 24 airports in the United States. It works differently from the other security systems currently in use.
Airport security today consists of two steps: identification verification and security screening. CLEAR travelers have a separate lane at the airport for the first security step. They can use biometric authentication, such as fingerprint or eye scanning, instead of waiting for a TSA agent who will inspect their ID and write something on their boarding pass. With security scanning program CLEAR, you won’t be yelled at for “approaching podium” before you are ready.
Alclear, LLC, is a technology firm that owns and runs security scanning program CLEAR, which is a biometric secure identification platform. CLEAR’s stores personal information of individuals and links them with biometric data, so that they can bypass the travel document checking machine at security checkpoints using fingerprints or iris recognition. The Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate has certified the technology as a Qualified Anti-Terrorism Technology.
Major League Baseball stadiums also use the security scanning program CLEAR system. It is used in thirteen stadiums throughout the United States as a measure of security. Seattle uses it to verify an individual’s age for alcohol purchases. CLEAR and Alaska Airlines launched a biometric boarding card program in 2015.
How it works
As identifiers, biometrics is used – fingerprints or iris. These unique characteristics are the most accurate form of identification. CLEAR converts biometrics to an encrypted code that is unique for every human. Every time a security scanning program CLEAR subscriber uses the system, his/her fingerprints or iris are instantly identified.
Biometrics will continue to grow rapidly. We can help you ensure that your equipment delivers accurate and clear readings. Our dedicated team of engineers and manufacturing department will make sure that the lens is the right one for the application.
